Corporate Group Coaching and Art Tour
The future belongs to creative people
“The future belongs to a very different kind of person with a very different kind of mind – creators and empathizers, pattern recognizers and meaning makers. These people…will now reap society’s richest rewards and share its greatest joys.”
Daniel H. Pink, A Whole New Mind
In the last 200 years, we’ve evolved from the Industrial Revolution to the Information Era and now we’re in the Conceptual Age. This is the age of ideas – where just one great idea may generate millions of dollars for your company. We’ve changed our focus from manual work to outsourcing to focusing on ideas to make your company grow.
In this day-long retreat, we will:
First, visit an artist’s studio or art museum to inspire our creative sides.
Next, we’ll learn how to brainstorm, get creative and innovative and do this by utilizing a series of fun and relaxing exercises designed to switch on the right side of the brain.
Then, we’ll engage in group brainstorming and coaching and tackle real-life issues and record as many realistic or ‘off the wall’ ideas as we can in this fun and interactive retreat.
Finally, we’ll apply our newfound knowledge and inspiration and create individual works of art which tackle some of issues covered in the coaching and brainstorming sessions. (Great for non-artists)
Why this works:
By visiting an art studio, participants are exposed to new ideas – colors, shapes, textures, imagery, patterns – right brain stimulus. This helps each person be more ‘open’ to new ideas.
Then, the group is inspired to brainstorm – much like a mastermind group and this is powerful as masterminding is a powerful way to generate new ideas. The greatest leaders in the world use this technique to be innovative and grow their companies.
